Student Supplies

Basic supplies your child will need:

All students (Kindergarten and up) need to bring basic supplies in a backpack/bag each week. It really helps teachers if these supplies are labeled with your child’s name. In the 3 and 4 year old classes, supplies are provided. Periodically check your child’s supplies but also encourage them to be personally responsible for being prepared for class!

These supplies include:
• pencils
• pens (if age appropriate)
• crayons (basic colors)
• colored pencils (basic colors)
• Scissors
• glue stick
• third grade and up will also need a spiral notebook or folder of lined paper.

Grade specific art supplies for the Fall Semester:

• 2nd graders should bring 2 packs of 10 markers (one fat and one skinny) to class on the first day. They will use them each Friday. The art teacher may choose to collect them at the beginning and return them at the end of the semester. (Crayola is a good choice: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, black, grey, brown and pink.)
• 3rd graders will be using acrylic paint (non-washable) every Friday. The co-op has smocks, but some children might like to bring their own.

For students in the Apologia science and IEW writing classes, teachers will let you know of any additional supplies needed.
